Bodie Lighthouse

The Bodie Lighthouse, was originally spelled Body, and should be pronounced "body"
There have been several lighthouses, the first was built in 1847, but became structurally unsound.
The 2nd light only lasted a few years before it was blown up in 1862 in the Civil War.
The 3rd Bodie lighthouse was put into operation in 1872.
