Blackwater Falls State Park Davis, WV
The park is located in the scenic Potomac Highlands area of West Virginia.
The "black" water of Blackwater Falls, is the result of tannic acid from fallen Hemlock, and Red Spruce needles. The falls plunge down 60 feet into the river valley that is 8 miles long, and 250 feet deep.
