Cass Scenic Railroad State Park
Cass, WV
Cass was a booming logging town from 1908 to 1922, and
about 1.5 million feet of lumber was harvested a week.
The Shay locomotives that are run at the Cass Scenic Railroad, still run on the same track that was built over a hundred years ago.
Not only can you take a train tour, but they also have Mystery train adventures, cabins for rent, and you can even rent a caboose to got to Whittaker for those who want that perfect rustic get-away.
