How long will my prints last?

I always say that is up to you, if you treat your print like its fine art then it will last you more then a lifetime. But to give you an idea the Wilhelm research, who does the independent testing for many inks and paper says with the combination of paper and inks that I use, my prints should last somewhere between 48 to a over 100 years before fading is noticeable. The shortest life span being, if you just tacked an unprotected print to the wall, and the longer end if you use archival quality materials to frame and protect your print. The Wilhelm imaging research lab, is kind of like the Car and Safety guide of printing. I use all OEM materials, and never use the cheap bulk inks, you can check out the quality of the materials that I use by going to. http://www.wilhelm-research.com/epson/9880.html .

How are your images sized?
The actual image size varies depending on many factors such as cropping, and the full frame of the image. The border is added to make up the difference, and brings the print up to the standard size stated. If you have any questions about this or need to know the actual size of an image please contact me

Why do you sell your prints so inexpensively ?

Boredom, and the love of photography.......seriously, I would rather sell a thousand prints for a dollar then sell one print for a thousand dollars. It may mean I have to work a lot harder to get the same amount of money, but in the end I'm never bored, and each day of work brings me closer to becoming the kind of photographer that I see myself as being.

Why aren't your prints signed?

I do on occasion sign my prints, sometimes when someone asks me to I will, and there are a few one of a kind proofs floating around out there with my signature on them.
I never want my work to be about me, even though I know the camera isn't going to jump off the table and the computer start processing the images without my help.
For me, photography is about the places, the people, the memories, and the artistic expression that I bring to my work. If people start buying my art because of my signature then in some small way I have failed as both an artist, and photographer.

Do you process your images?

Yes, photography like any other art form is a mode of expression. From how I use the camera, to the steps I use in the development of said photograph is all a part of capturing an image that was envisioned.

Do you wholesale?

Yes, please use the contact me form for inquires. Information that I will need, a resellers license number, and whether you are a part of a state, national park system, or a non-profit organization.

Do you do photography for hire such as Weddings, Commercial or other photographic Events?

Yes, but I have limited available time, so if you would like to book me for such an event I will need at least 4 to 6 months advanced notice. And generally the more days you need me to work, the further advance notice I will need.

What kind of camera do you use?

Cameras, are a personal choice. You match your style of photography, with your needs, wants, and your budget, then you buy the camera that best fits those desires. However, do invest in a camera that does have manual controls.
