Harpers Ferry National Historical Park
Harpers Ferry, WV

On June 29, 1944, President Roosevelt signed legislation creating Harpers Ferry, and a National Historical Park. This natural water gap has attracted human attention for centuries, and has played a central part of American history on more then one occasion.
