Thurmond
Thurmond, WV

Thurmond, West Virginia was once one of the major rail lines of the eastern Unitied States. And in the early 1900's handled twice as much freight as Richmond, VA and Cincinnati, Oh combined. A visitor center is located in the Depot at Thurmond, and Thurmond is also a part of the New River Gorge National River. To check out more about Thurmond, go to their web site here:
